Should be tagged as 'satire' but it's flippin hilarious anyway. Love it.
Ta for the info! More tempted now.
Heard DriveClub is actually pretty decent now. Tempted.
Haha perhaps World Of Tanks is more your speed then! :P
I sometimes wish Wargaming would combine all three games (Tanks, Warplanes, Warships) into one massive experience or shared online campaign.
Yeah, for sure. Thing is I actually loved TLOU Remastered as it felt like a full package with everything included, but this feels like nickel & diming to plug the Uncharted gap.
Agreed. Sorry Sony, I'm all for remasters when done right, but you should be including more than one game for fifty quid!
Sounds like a plan, it's brand new so tradein might be decent.
Odd article. I expected the site to cite financial info, perhaps of slumping Sony stock prices after launch (because that's the only thing that could justify such a sensationalist headline), but NOPE. Nada. No sales figures, no stock reports, just a bunch of random uncited blurb.
And no, linking to Metacritic doesn't count. :P
Game is selling well, and that's what shareholders care about. "Disaster" is just so not the right word!
...
Wouldn't be surprised if he went indie or into a different medium for a while. He's amazingly creative and might have to blow off some steam before settling on a new AAA outfit.
I think the problem comes from overusing jargon at the same time as the quality of their characters went through the floor. Though I do feel that KH would be more effective if it focused less on the buzzwords (Ive completely lost track now, seriously, there are even multiple spellings of 'keyblade' that sound the same yet have different meanings), youre right, it delivers a cast we care about and invest in as opposed to Lightning and her merry band of instantly forgettable toolbags.
Oh man, IX was incredible. Amazing combat, great characters, strong themes and a really nice familiar setting. Went a bit off the rails near the end, but probably still my favourite of the post-SNES games.
Also, Rose Of May is still my favourite themes hands-down. Always reminds me of Steiner and Beatrix.
Would love a return to form, though I haven't at all written off XV. Hate the art design but love everything else!
Pics or GTFO.
Also, what?
Last year IIRC. Dunno if all the devs were laid off or re-purposed, but it might have freed up talent for GOW.
I reckon it would be a good move so long as Sony Santa Monica are deep enough into development. They've had years to work on it, after all, and canned a project so presumably focused all their resources on the project.
If the project even exists, of course!
Aye. This and Guerilla Games' RPG would do nicely!
Seems unlikely I agree, but desperate times. They need a big Christmas game and GoW would do!
Yeah, I'm mainly looking forward to attaching random stuff to balloons. It's the simple pleasures.
That is quite smexy, actually. Dunno how good it is for gaming but could be awesome for HTPCs.
...writes PSXextreme.
A site that only covers PlayStation games.
In about 200 words.
Thing is, though, the article does at least flag up a major problem Nintendo faces - what used to be core mainstream franchises like Zelda, Metroid and even Mario are now kinda... niche. Almost the purview of 30-something retronauts like myself, while the kids all play Minecraft and the everyone else plays CoD.
They're not mutually exclusive - AO would be put next to the 18 rating. But on the other hand, yeah, it's completely redundant.
